Deck Hand

Location: Millwood, WV

Job Type: Full-time

​

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Captain with day-to-day operations

Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the deck, vessel and equipment

Assisting with launching and retrieving tenders, handling lines, and anchoring operations

Assisting with maintenance and repairs of deck equipment

Performing safety drills and ensuring safety equipment is in proper working order.

Keeping a lookout for hazards and ensuring all safety regulations are followed.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a deckhand.

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
